Basically, mine. Enjoy – or not, as the case maybe…
Canary Islands – 11th – 25th November 2023
First up, Southampton bedecked in the nearly mid-November dusk
Somewhere off the coast of France. Something nice about clouds, sea and sunrises…
Tenerife, Thursday 16th November. What does being around 12,000ft up a currently asleep volcano – Mount Teide – look like?
Gran Canaria, Friday 17th. Little happened that day. This helpful chap clambered on board and helped us dock..
But, Saturday 18th November – Lanzarote. Thursday 12,000ft up, this day 70ft below the harbour.
Sunday 19th November – Madeira. And a trip to gaze at some flora and some foliage at the islands Botanical Gardens
Fast forward to Tuesday 21st – Lisbon. And an interesting tour of how they got the drinking water until the 1920’s, from hills to city via a network of viaducts
And dribbling though the network of underground tunnels..
And the last but one leg, into the cities reservoirs
Finally, Thursday 23rd and the last call – top of Spain, La Coruna – and here’s the Hercules Lighthouse at the Cape of Trafalgar, which is part of the UK shipping forecast, but seldom mentioned..
Leave ’em stunned with a photo of sea spray on rocks. I know how to please an audience..
Photos of Chefchaouen, Morocco from October 2016 – a small walled town, where they paint the walls, floors and doors heat soaking shades of blue..
But first, some scenery
And now, a wander around Chefchaouen.
The strange thing about that last photo was that when I took it – I never noticed the little girl looking at me.
I was more taken with the contrast of the things hanging up on the right hand side of the photo, with the wall colours on the left hand side.
Or random photos of the Isle of Man, and a bit of Liverpool from the top of the Liver Building.
Iffy dusk pictures from the Wirral side, Town Hall, New Brighton Lighthouse, A church within the Anglican cathedral, Paddy’s Wigwam, and a bit of a black and white mood shot.
And more photos, all with zero comments or context. You’re welcome.
Take one decomissioned lighthouse at the point where the Mersey and Irish Sea meet, and et voila…
But first, a shell..
Now, the lighthouse…
The lighthouse and a bench – and below that, a perfectly framed in a victorian seafront shelter – before more of the lighthouse..
Finally, a ship is inextricably drawn towards the setting sun.. Night all.
Monday 11th – Friday 15th October
Various photos, mostly of the sea, sunrise, sunsets and occasional random stuff – like this of two (viciously overpriced small bottles of Coke – thanks for the dent in my credit card, Warners Hotel Bembridge).
Do enjoy grazing and scrolling down on the following..
And with a photo of a Navy boat, that’s your lot, so it’s a case of –
